Teacher Support & Professional Development

Incline Education Fund (IEF) reimburses teachers for up to $500 of professional development expenses to maintain or acquire teaching certifications and/or additional endorsements, including National Board certification.   

We believe that helping teachers augment their areas of specialized knowledge will help them be the best teachers that they can be and will add value to our schools.

Expanding knowledge is good for all of us and having teachers that demonstrate how to be a lifelong learner serves our students well by keeping their skills cutting-edge. 

In addition, IEF works closely with our teachers to support them on individual needs including:

• Funding teacher “passion projects” (i.e. Makerspace, Robotics, Culinary, XC skiing, etc)

• Purchasing classroom resources (many teachers pay for materials out of their own pocket)

• Negotiated discount rates and subsidized stays at local hotels for teachers who need to stay local due to after-school activities and bad weather
