Incline Education Fund (IEF) provides support for the EdPlanIt College Bootcamp each August. This week-long camp, run by retired Incline High School (IHS) Principal Leslie Hermann, helps rising seniors work through the college application process.
Students learn about school “fit” and how to research colleges and universities, fill out the FAFSA form, look for scholarships, fill out college applications and write their college essays. As an added bonus, students get to present their essay to between 1-3 actual college admissions reps for immediate feedback – before they actually apply to the school of their choice.
This is a unique opportunity for Incline students to get support in the daunting college application process.
