Mock Interview & Dress for Success

IEF coordinates with the Incline High School Internship Specialist for an annual Mock Interview event to help prepare students for future job interviews. Incline High School students learn how to write a resume during their English & Advisory classes and learn how to look for and apply for a job and gain interview skills during the Mock Interview Day.  Local Incline residents and business professionals volunteer their time to work with students to improve and refine their interviewing skills.

A few local employers actually use this opportunity to hire students for summer positions.

To help students properly prepare for the mock interviews, IEF organizes a ‘closet’ of professional clothes for students to use (or keep).

Many of our students don’t have the financial resources for dress clothing that is appropriate to wear in an office or for interviewing.  Clothing, including sport coats, blazers, blouses, dress pants, shoes, dress socks, etc. is donated by local residents.

If you are interested in donating clothing, please contact Mary at maryd@inclineeducationfund.org
